Exploit
Necessities, Power, & Isolation.
Best of this week my life:
I've been freer than ever, both physically, and more importantly, mentally.
Almost adopted another feline. Will probably adopt him this week. 🤞🏻
Discovered the amazing letout.app. Highly recommended, must try.
One of the most disgusting things people do is exploitation.
A popular example of this is exploitation of law but, exploitation happen at all levels of society.
Exploitation births from a wrong person gaining authority over a necessity.
Something needs to be done.
Someone is appointed to get it done.
Unfortunately this person has weak, or worse, no morals.
They get the work done while doing all sorts immortal activities and building unethical leverage.
Anyone, anywhere, in any era can only exploit what is a necessity and exploitation is only possible because it is necessary. If it's not a necessity exploitation and abuse are practically impossible.
This necessity is also the strength behind the power they assume in that role.
A big reason behind peoples mistrust and lack of faith in people with authority stems from this power and the possibility that they may be exploiting their authority.
This creates a lot of complexity which consumes a lot of energy to deal with. Last year, while I was still in the pure exploration phase of my life, I had that energy to spare but now that I've made some hard choices, cut some rusted bonds and acquired focus, I don't have that in my energy budget.
This focused energy budgeting feels so good that I currently have this strong feeling towards cutting ties and isolating myself. The urge of settling in a farm or forest has never been stronger. I might actually end up doing it but, I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep...
